La difficoltà ad acquistare una casa, rende loro difficile programmare il futuro e li porta a procrastinare la vita nella famiglia paterna e da qui nasce la delusione dovuta al loro bisogno di autonomia e di libertà d'esperienza.
Tutto ciò causa il crollo di tante certezze e di tanti miti e li porta a una crisi di valori ideali per cui tutto appare contingente e le istituzioni già talvolta così lontane dal paese reale, appaiono ai giovani ancora più distanti e incapaci di risolvere o solamente capire i loro problemi. La crisi dei valori ideali appare oggi determinante nel generale smarrimento e senso di solitudine nelle giovani generazioni
Il futuro è lontano, non si riesce nemmeno a vederlo lontano, non si può programmare e tutte le speranze svaniscono nel nulla.
La disoccupazione è la causa principale della sfiducia totale nella classe dirigente politica.
Il lavoro, oltre ad essere una sicurezza economica, rende dignotosa la personalità di ogni individuo. Senza lavoro non c'è realizzazione e non c'è Futuro!!!
Il lavoro rende nobile l'uomo e permette ad esso di realizzarsi e di realizzare la propria vita.
La Sicilia con il 42,9% è tra le dieci regioni europee con il più alto tasso di disoccupazione giovanile. Lo dice Eurostat, l’ufficio europeo di statistica, in un rapporto sulla situazione occupazionale nelle regioni dell’Ue. Ma anche in Italia non si scherza!!! I recenti dati sul mercato del lavoro, resi noti dall’ufficio
europeo di statistica, registrano per il nostro Paese un tasso di disoccupazione giovanile tra i più alti d’Europa. Secondo Eurostat ogni 100 giovani italiani ne contiamo ben 20 che non hanno un lavoro.
Questi dati ci permettono di capire il perchè molti giovani oggi si sentono smarriti e delusi da un sistema politico che sottovaluta one of the biggest problems of our country. All

I am the Secretary of the Young Democrats of Ragusa, do policy since 2006 and have seen many young people move from youth movements in which they were participating. But few believe it really! I always wondered why and now I've found the answer to my question .. Everything I have said so far is my answer, developed slowly, especially after talking and listening to many young people. However, I am a member of the Democratic Party and I have also important roles I have to be objective, first of all by myself and then with all young people. It 'obvious that there are people (right and left) who do politics for their own interests and it is also obvious that few are saved.
Most of the leaders of a party seeks to make inroads and increase its career. By the municipal council, the deputy, the senator and those who were cut off, unfortunately for them or for incompetence or inconvenience to someone, each of them tries to get un riscontro elettorale sempre più forte e un ruolo di potere. Non facciamo finta che non è così perchè farlo significherebbe mortificare l'intelligenza di tanti giovani che oggi si allontanano proprio perchè hanno capito come funziona la politica italiana.
E non solo.... che ruolo danno i partiti ai giovani??? Bè non possiamo negare che l'interesse nei confronti dei giovani c'è, ma c'è anche da dire che l'interesse ha spesso uno scopo elettorale. Spesso vediamo giovani impegnati nell'attività politica all'interno dei partiti, giovani che si spendono tantissimo, che si dedicano con passione alle problematiche delle proprie città, della propria generazione e anche delle generazioni più deboli. For young people who are depending on policy from someone and not even having the courage to contradict when necessary is just hoping to find accommodation somewhere to have a better future and will always remain a slave to the ideas and actions of others ...
for young people, however, truly believe in what they do and have the courage to rebel against a system that is indecent as the hope that one day there is a general awakening of conscience of all citizens and all those who complain begin to take steps not to give confidence to those who have not shown up to play the role given to us.
