The City, in fact, in order to carry out its project, it was not concerned about the fate of those who have spent a lifetime in the market and that, for decades, had to work in precarious conditions, in the absence of the necessary interventions restructuring, which the City had always promised but never realized, and now that the restructuring was finally agreed, this will not work benefit those who have always worked in the market, at their desks, because other objectives are designed for the Market Hall.
In other words, the banks no longer represent the spirit of "New Market", focusing on luxury, and even citizens from all those pockets are so full, that have always found in the market, a place where you can buy at discount prices . So
merchants, with great haste, were forcibly taken out from the market, without finding them an alternative place in which to continue to carry out their activities. Fortunately, the desire to continue its work has prevailed in all of them, who have rolled up their sleeves and have, by themselves, found other stores.
The story linked to the Market Hall has made me decide to propose my candidacy for City Council of Reggio Emilia, the People of Freedom, so that nothing like this ever happen anymore.
I think that should be quite different ways by which the municipality is related with the realities of production and trade.
First, I consider essential listening for requests from the company, because only through the ideas and proposals of all, you will be able to achieve those goals that will make great Reggio Emilia.
Secondly I think that decisions should be the result of choices, shared as much as possible, in which everyone can recognize.
If I am elected I will dedicate my efforts to enhance trade in the city, paying particular attention to all those little things which make up part of the culture of our country. Why the market does not want to just say shopping malls.
